While the Wavetrac is compatible with the factory gear oils in use today, many people want to upgrade their gear oil for high performance or racing use. As a result, we are always being asked for recommendations. After years of experience, and months of research and testing with several brands and types of oils, AUTOTECHdriveline has now partnered with Motul Oils to offer their outstanding range of no-compromise gear oils. Motul full synthetic GEAR300 75w90 and GEAR Competition 75w140 oils are now available through Wavetrac and its dealers. While these two types cover most applications that Wavetracs are used in, it does not cover all of them. Please contact us for details.
If you are installing a new gearset at the same time, note that some aftermarket ring and pinion manufacturers have specific break-in and oil requirements for their gears. Consult the gear manufacturer for details.

Our newest RS model Wavetrac is available to fit special 33 spline axle upgraded Mustang 8.8. Upgrade your 8.8 inch rear to a Wavetrac RS diff and 33 spline axles for extra power capacity! This is a non c-clip style diff (use axle retention like a 9-inch at the outer tube ends). A great way to boost capacity without the expense of changing the whole axle. The Wavetrac is now available to fit the most popular Porsche 911 models from 1969-1998 with 901, 911, 915, and G50 transmissions. Find a dealer near you, or go to Applications and buy online.

The Wavetrac is now available for LX platform SRT8 models: Charger, 300C, Magnum, and Challenger through 2008. It will also fit 5.7L Automatic LC/LX/LE cars from 2009 onwards. Wavetrac for Mk4 and Mk5 5MT (2nd gen 02J) and Mk6 5MT (02J)+ 6MT (02S) applications from 2004 onwards are now shipping.

Wavetrac part number 30.309.170WK for the 335i is now available as a bolt in for most 2007 cars. Mid '07 and later cars with welded diff/ring gear assemblies can be fitted with additional service/labor using our Install Kit (details here). Please contact us for a referral to one of our Specialist Dealers that can do this for you.
